So you may be thinking about AI and how to put an AI strategy in place for your business. This AI strategy workshop gives business leaders and decision makers clarity, precision, and action on Porsche, the car manufacturing company, reported that in the first nine months of twenty twenty five, they lost ninety nine percent of their profit. And the reason they gave for this was because of poor sales and poor demand for their fully electric luxury vehicle line and the impact of a strategy shift back to extending the life of internal combustion engine vehicles and going hybrid with the others. So what does this have to do with AI? Well, EV or electric vehicles is a new thing in the automotive industry. Same thing with AI in other industries. Klarna, a buy now, pay later company, went all in on AI, and they laid off several hundred staff only to cut back and rehire those staff in twenty twenty four. So as a business leader, what’s your own strategy? AI is a new thing that is disrupting almost all industries, but sitting back because you are busy even though you are aware of AI isn’t going to help your business. Should you go all in, or should you still maintain using only human intelligence in your business? Or is there a better place for you to have some kind of augmented intelligence in your business? You would never know unless you step back and put a strategy in place. By the way, your staff are already using AI, whether it’s a company permitted action or not. Now you may be a business leader, a business owner, a director, a trustee, a c suite executive, or a decision maker. You’re aware of AI. You’re busy. You’re nontechnical. By the back of your mind, you’re concerned about control and privacy of your data. Right? So what do you do? What steps do need to take to make sure that AI fits your business and works for your specific scenario in a way that allows you to have a competitive edge? This is what the AI strategy workshop is all about. Now imagine you have a crowd outside the building you are and they’re making noise and you see them, you know, approaching other buildings. In some buildings, they are allowed to come in and they are welcome and the occupants of that building are happy to have them around. While in other buildings, they just leave chaos and destruction. In your mind, you’ll be thinking, what’s that crowd all about? What do they want? How do I interact with that crowd? Because they are coming to my own building or they’re even here already. What action do I need to take in order to engage properly with this crowd? Right? So you’re going to have all these questions in your mind. This is no different from what the AI hype is at the moment. There’s so much noise about it. Social media makes it, you know, even amplifies it even more. You have traditional media who’s reporting about it. You have VCs and other companies that invest in startups all pumping it up and making it sound way more than it actually is. And that kind of places business leaders, especially non technical business leaders, to to kind of freeze and not know what to do. But what you need is clarity, precision, and action on AI. Another angle to it is ninety five percent of AI projects fail. This is according to an MIT Nanda Institute report. That’s a very, very high number. Yet, five percent do succeed. So the question is, how do you make sure that when you bring AI into your business, you are among the five percent that do succeed? Based on my understanding, regardless of what your experience is or what your background is or what the news says, you still have a chance of having successful AI implementations if done right. This is why we came up with this AI strategic workshop, which aims to give you three things, clarity, precision, and action on AI. So that as a leader, you are able to lead with confidence. You’re able to identify AI opportunities, lead initiatives, and work with your staff, work with your team and other leaders to make sure that you have successful implementation. And all of that starts with having the right strategy in place that works for your own specific and unique business situation. So the theme of the ASIG workshop is about playing your cards right. Clarity, precision, and action. The first card you need to play is clarity. You and your leaders need to understand what AI is. You need to have a good level of AI literacy. You need to be able to understand governance and how it applies to AI because unlike traditional software and other applications, AI is not something you just set and leave. You need to put in place very good governance and, you know, aim to achieve responsible AI implementation, especially if you’re concerned about the privacy of your data. So Clavity allows you to establish AI governing principles and a strategic mandate for your business when it comes to AI. The next card you need to play is precision. How do you view your your business as a data machine? You’re going to learn frameworks that allow you to view your business operations as a data machine, which allows you to clearly see where the bottlenecks are, the inefficiencies are, and where the opportunities for AI are to improve your business. Whether you’re trying to reduce cost or increase revenues, either internal processes or with customer facing processes. This particular part of the workshop allows you to map data flows to AI opportunities, high impact AI opportunities. The last card you need to play is action. How do you come up with a road map that is executable? A road map that you can actually implement. A road map that is aware of your business situation, your business goals, and the strength of your processes and the staff within your business. How do you make it happen? Right? So how do you take decisive action to unlock control, flexibility, and privacy, especially as you bring AI into your business operations. Now this workshop is hands on, so there are exercises you need to do, the activities you need to do. One of them is there’s a worksheet you need to go through. This worksheet here, as you can see, is going to be given to the participants, and you’re going to use it to carry out three activities, which is identifying, key work throughs within your business, especially the ones that are painful, and then mapping out the most painful one according to its own data operations, part of what you would learn in the workshop with the circuits framework. And you’ll now find out what AI solution is best applied to this problem, to this workflow, to this data inefficiency, all in the context of what the advantage and advantages of each of these AI solutions are. Now you would also get, you know, physical copies of these cards. You can see we have the clarity card here. We have the precision card and the action card. These cards are are given out, you can keep them as souvenirs, and they serve as a reminder that when you’re dealing with AI within your business, you have to always think about clarity, precision, and action. So the physical cards you get as you complete each section of the workshop. My name is Bulama Yusuf. I’m the founder of Intellectual Apps and bulama.io. Intellectual Apps is a Google Cloud partner.
